Ian Howe grew up studying dance in Woodinville, inspired by Savion Glover. He went on to perform in Las Vegas and in Broadway-style shows with Holland America Line for almost eight amazing years. After traveling around the world (twice!) he returned to the Puget Sound where he's now dancing with Relay Dance Collective, 3rd Shift Dance, and teaches at Backstage Dance Studio. Austin Sexton, RDC Rehearsal Director, said one of the things that makes Ian unique is his ability to seamlessly transition from hip-hop to a grande jete. His fantastic and positive attitude is pretty great, too!See Ian dance in "End of a Year" by Eva Stone and a new work by Markeith Wiley in RDC3. Proudest accomplishment as an artist. Being told at 19 that I had the chance to dance and travel around the world.
Most humbling moment as an artist. Meeting tap dancer Arthur Duncan and perfomer Chita Rivera.
